I've played this game through a couple different iterations and I'm a huge fan of where its ended up. As someone who likes the chaotic potential of fighting games like smash bros but lacks the dexterity to play really well, Legends lets me plan chaotic combos and see if they work out with no dexterity required. Sometimes they work flawlessly. Most of the time they don't. But the best part is the look of surprise on the other person's face, which happens either way.

I've had the pleasure of playing this game several times, and it's always a treat. The character designs are lovely and quirky, riffing off of some niche archetypes in a fun and new way. The art is fantastic and really brings them to life. The core gameplay is really engaging. They really nailed the smash bros feeling of chipping away at a character until you can blast them right off of the edge. The card layout is very readable and the combat system is consistent and feels very balanced. It's the type of game that rewards you for playing multiple times and learning how all the characters work, very similar to any other fighting game. Highly recommended!
I’ve played 2v2, 3v3, and even a 3-player free-for-all brawl — and every mode feels chaotic, strategic, and ridiculously fun. This is a game of tug-of-war between two teams where anticipating your opponent’s move is EVERYTHING. One wrong play and you’re flying off the edge.
Sat down and played many games with a friend at MAGWest and it was a lot of fun! Even though I wasn't very good at it the mechanics were pretty understandable and the game was overall pretty easy to learn, setup, and play. The characters were interesting and the game itself felt satisfying and very intuitive. While the game is still somewhat rough in some areas and the new characters are still being perfected, the game has a lot of potential and would definitely recommend it to my friends to play it.
Hey this is my game! My brother and I made Legends of the Arena to capture the experience of playing platform fighting games together with our friends on the couch. My favorite mode is 2v2 and for me this captures the excitement of setting up combos with your allies and the elation of getting the perfect read. 10/10 would play again!
