Midgard Waeland-Abenteuer: Drakkarsborn (GDR)

At the beginning of the adventure, the companions find themselves at the Bear Farm, where the boat builder Folke Husbjörnson lives with his family. Folke is expecting a visit from a notorious sea wolf named Trygvar Sturmbart, who wants to commission a new dragon boat. This construction assignment is of great importance to the Bear Farm, as the winter has been harsh and gold is scarce. Unfortunately, Folke is seriously ill with pneumonia. He therefore asks the adventurers to help him in the negotiations with the sea wolf... The central element of the adventure is the construction of a dragon boat. For this purpose, the present volume contains the game mechanism of rivets, planks, stem, which has the character of a board game. In addition to this simulation, there are numerous inserts that focus on role-playing and in which players can fully immerse themselves in their adventurer types. We hope to offer something new even to experienced players with this unusual combination - in the spirit of fun and entertainment. This booklet contains a fantasy adventure with board game simulation for the 5th edition of the MIDGARD role-playing game rules. It takes 3 - 5 adventurers of levels 4 - 8 into the waelian mountain and fjord landscape. The adventurers help their good friend Folke Husbjörnson in building a dragon boat and are confronted with stubborn dark dwarves, voracious wyrms, rapacious bandits, secrets from the time of the ancestors, and vengeful sea wolves.
