The Orders add a much needed dynamism to the way goods are gathered throughout the game, as you now can use them during the game and they are not simply worth VP at the end of the game. I also like the new buildings and the new beneficial deeds board. The events I am lukewarm about.
Must have for Orleans owners. The new events & beneficial deeds board replace the base game version and are strictly better. The orders are a simple addition that adds a new tactical element for scoring points.
My module ratings: [list] [*]Orders: 10 [*]New Events: 9 [*]New Beneficial Deeds: 9 [*]Intrigue: 1 [/list] [b]Verdict:[/b] I won't ever play Orléans without it (even with new players), but IMO the Intrigue module goes against the spirit of the game.
It's a must for Orléans. Orders makes the map interesting and provides a new path to victory. New Events gives more variety to the excellent event system. New Beneficial Deeds makes it much more interesting to send the workers away.
An expansion that makes a great game absolutely amazing one. Glass hour tiles are now much more interesting and I love the way you may play the game in more or less interactive way (intrigue variant is really cruel!). Love it, my next favourite expansion right after Viticulture Tuscany!
