Description
Pampero: Project Verne is an expansion of the board game Pampero. Uruguay, after transitioning to wind and solar energy, now aims to convert transport and heavy industry to renewable hydrogen: the project, code-named Project Verne, introduces new rules and components that can be used in whole or in part.
CO2: cards and tiles to introduce CO2. CO2 tokens are obtained by building wind farms and are used to pay for power towers, or after the 1st and 2nd count for various bonuses.
H2: along with CO2 rules, it allows the production of H2 fuel containers to be delivered to local markets or exported by tanker ships.
Innovations and freelancers: numerous cards, wooden tokens, tiles, and other components. New bonus actions combine for different strategies and combos.
Low-tech towers: during setup, tiles do not go on the bonus board of the towers. At the start, new bonus tiles are placed next to the board; players take the pre-printed bonus and add the low-tech tiles, which remain on the board as permanent bonuses.
Events: Event tiles to be added to the board.
