Sagas of Midgard is a cinematic, story-driven RPG set in a mythologized Norse cosmos. The game encourages player creativity and features a simple, intuitive rules system. Character death is a feature, not a bug, and each character has an ability called 'With Joy I Cease', allowing them to pass into Valhalla gloriously. The corebook includes over 120 powers, a raiding and settlement system, 24 runes, and 39 savage monsters, along with four prefabricated adventures.
