Where do the ideas for a book, a comic, a story made of paper and ink come from? For Silvia Ziche, ideas come from observation. Observing people on the street, in the subway, on the train, admiring couples, their harmony or disharmony, and children, with the intrinsic spontaneity of a young and carefree age. In this sketchbook, without the pretense of a common thread, Silvia Ziche offers a unique look, hers, on humanity, on what unites each of us. A beauty that perhaps - in a today where the gaze remains fixed on screens more or less large - is the only one worth noticing. And each drawing, on its own, becomes a small story, full of irony, affection, or poetry. Often, of all three things together.
