Storytelling Mints RPG
Storytelling Mints is a standalone, portable narrative role-playing game perfect for quick sessions among friends or at conventions. With 24 characters and 255,024 possible quests, it offers a unique and improvised gaming experience.
Storytelling Mints is a standalone, portable narrative role-playing game that fits in the palm of your hand. It can be played among friends, at a convention, or for an improvised adventure: no other books, dice, or components are needed.
The tin contains 24 double-sided mini-cards. On one side: 24 ready-to-play characters, with species, class, strengths, weaknesses, and equipment; the same side, flipped, shows the outcomes of risky actions (Yes/And, Yes/But, No/But, No/And). The back of each card contains mission fragments — Goal, Location, Obstacle, Twist — to combine four to generate a quest. Completing the set are two double-sided rule cards, one for the GM and one for the players.
By combining four cards (one Goal, one Location, one Obstacle, and one Twist), you get 255,024 possible quests. The format is suitable for quick sessions, one-shots, and spontaneous storytelling. The tin measures 50 × 80 mm.
The GM draws four cards to build the adventure; players choose from the 24 characters. When an action is risky, a card is drawn, and the outcome printed on the character side is read.
