The Mother Road: Route 66 è una corsa "Push-your-Luck" lungo la Route 66 per 2-4 giocatori. Le pedine sono automobiline di legno ispirate ai classici della Route 66 dei tempi passati: un Mustang giallo canarino degli anni '60, un Thunderbird azzurro chiaro degli anni '50 (con gli oblò), un pickup Ford rosso ciliegia (noto dal primo grande successo degli Eagles, Take It Easy) e una motocicletta Harley-Davidson nera. Molti monumenti iconici della Route 66 sono raffigurati tramite foto e grafiche sul tabellone in neoprene lungo quasi tre metri; e anche i dadi sono tutti nei colori dei giocatori! Le corse sono di solito molto combattute e durano 30-45 minuti. Le regole sono facili da imparare. A definite step up in looks and production from Can’t Stop. I really like the second place points and jumping other players adds some good strategic decisions to an otherwise scripted experience. The different car models for each player are cute.

Very similar to Can't Stop but all the twists I like better: you jump over your opponents, and you play for points instead of rows and you can win a row in second place. Over all I like this better. The neoprene map is ridiculously long but works ok once you realize the tracks spaces zigzag.

Nicely designed mat! (On the tie breaker, the player who went second wins. However, they have more info after seeing where the first player went, so not sure it works... both players had an equal number of turns.)

CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
