LIFE’S A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION Find your path in a beautiful Japanese garden. In the Japanese tradition, the torii gate marks the transition into the sacred. Travel from fountains to flowers to shrines passing through as many torii gates as possible, while meeting vendors, poets, and even Samurai along the way. The traveler goes through the ancient torii gate— Leaf falls in water OBJECTIVE Earn the most journey points by expanding the garden and walking through as many torii gates as possible as you move between similar landmarks. Earn additional advantages and points by interacting with characters in the garden such as poets, samurai, gardeners, vendors and geishas. Maybe you will be first to visit each landmark 5 times or maybe you will interact with same character 3 times. Your journey to the most points may lead you down a different path every time! KEY PLAY The One Hundred Torii is a tile placing game played over a series of turns. Each turn the board expands and the game ends after the last tile is drawn and each player takes one last turn. Each Turn, the player takes the following actions (in order): - Get Help (optional) - Expand the Garden - Claim Rewards (if earned) - Draw Tiles -description from publisher

Pretty Pretty Pretty. This is a pretty game. There are a lot of bits and that means lots of set up, but if you have set up enough it's actually not too much overhead. Some people find this game breaks their little heads, but I feel it's a lovely little warm down game after some meaty brain busters.
It is a good game. It is about Japan, it is nice. My only problem with itm that in the solo game, I find it quite impossible to beat Onatsu. But maybe, hwen I played more, I manage... :-)
The game is tile placement with a focal point of set collection. Building out the garden in a shared play area could have been cutthroat; however, our games were gentle and calming. (Great time for this game!) The movement was clean, and the Torii mechanics was smart. It is steeped with strategies that quickly evolve as the game nears the last turns. Having a higher player count found the Gardener action smart and vital. The claiming of Landmarks, Visitors, and trading up to large tokens faster is the key to winning the game. Our games were so very close in Journey Points. This game has become the house favorite for a quick game over coffee in the mornings.
光看图片和介绍以为又是一个《卡卡颂》的仿制品，实际试了一下发现还是有很大的不同的。 相对于《卡卡颂》，本作的板块拼接非常自由。只要相邻就可以放置，没有邻边不匹配的问题。玩家可以把思考完全集中在本作独特的计分方式上。 本作的板块上包含连通或不连通的道路、6种“地标”中的1-2种、以及0-2个红色和蓝色的鸟居。游戏中玩家在放置板块后，要寻找连通新放置板块道路上的地标的最近相同地标，有的话得到该地标的token作为奖励。用于连接相匹配地标的道路上，每有1个红色鸟居可以拿1个相同地标token，每有1个蓝色地标可以拿1个不同地标的token。然后用收集到的token换取各种成套收集的奖励分数。 游戏整体流程非常流畅，玩家每回合的行动就是简单的“使用角色技能，放一片，结算分数，补一片”，基本上没有什么DT。所有玩家在同一片版图上拼接板块的玩法，天热具备很优秀的玩家互动性。配上文森特老师百看不腻的美术，算是最近体验过的很不错的一款轻策了。 最后，有个比较明显的影响体验的地方不吐槽一下不舒服。游戏中地标token是很小的板件token，凑齐同种5个可以换1个价值5分的同类大token；再凑齐5个可以把5分的大token翻面成10分的。游戏为了实现这个计分用了6种共120个小token和24个大token……真的很想问问设计师：做个玩家面板，上面印6条轨道不好么……？
Torii, as we have been referring to it for a while, is a game that takes good advantage of the path building system. It allows players to compete on a very peaceful battlefield of a sort of garden. I highly recommend this if you want a relaxing game with simple gameplay decisions that can still be very rewarding for advanced players.
