Description
The Wretched is a solo journaling role-playing game that explores human resilience against adverse circumstances, overwhelming forces, and almost certain death. It is a game about isolation, fear, and perseverance.
Through tables, dice rolls, and card draws, you will build your travel diary as the last member of the crew of the spaceship 'The Wretched'. Day by day, until the inevitable epilogue…
The Wretched is inspired by stories like Alien and Point of No Return, as well as the films of John Carpenter and the music of Nine Inch Nails.
The game requires:
- One six-sided die,
- A deck of poker cards,
- A Jenga tower (optional but recommended),
- A means to record your story's diary: this could be your PC's microphone, a paper journal, a video camera, a series of tweets, or voice messages to your friends…
Softcover, A5, full color, 44 pages.
