Description
After independence from colonial rule, India lay in ruins. Bureaucrats, politicians, and industrialists launched a new industrial revolution following five-year plans. In Tycoon: India 1981, players represent major industrial houses seeking to dominate six key sectors — minerals, fuel, agriculture, energy, transport, and finance — obtaining rights from the government and building factories across the Indian map.
The goal is to grow wealthy, but you must influence national policies, secure political votes for tiebreakers, and balance wealth and fame across a series of rounds that will determine the winner.
The Definitive Edition includes the complete base game, all Kickstarter content, solo mode and campaign, sector dice, and unlockable content, with rule corrections and component improvements over the first printing.
