Description
Vikings: Become the Legend is a competitive board game for 1-2 players where each Viking clan competes for resources, territories, and glory. Each turn players plan actions, build warriors, ships, and settlement structures, and decide when to trade, raid, or found new settlements along the coast.
A central mechanic is managing warships and long sea voyages: each ship can be sent to trade, raid, or establish a settlement, but players must carefully assess forces and opponents' reactions. Battles take place on a combat board with raid cards and special dice, where shields, archers, and berserkers act in precise order to determine losses.
In solo mode, the Automa system controls an enemy clan that hinders the player's plans, creating unexpected events and resistance in territories to conquer. Expansions allow adding more Automa opponents or other players, expanding the game up to six participants. Victory goes to the clan that scores the most points by achieving objectives and building settlements with Market, Ring Fort, and Honey Hall.
