I will never get bored of playing this game. Sure, it isn't perfect but it's thematic and fun and I'm back in the old world cracking skulls and taking names. It is, for me, a great blend of square based wargaming, nostalgia, and cool minis that I prefer to other, more roundly based comparative products.

Absolutely love this new edition of fantasy Warhammer. It creates such a spectacle on the table and the rules all feel representative of what is happening in the battle. There are a lot of rules and it is a very complicated game, but well worth the time commitment.

Rewards obsession and lore building. Customizing Minis, Movement Trays, Storage, and Terrain is a pile of fun! SBOT when you can! I really feel bad for the original (pre2015) Warhammer Fantasy folks that never had a chance to play digitally while building out their army. It's really nice to casually play in tournaments while painting to a standard you will be happy with. The campaign narrative space is super cool. I hope more gets done with it. I LOVE WIZARD BATTLES!

A beautiful whif of "proper wargaming" blended with the modern points/rules cocktail. This game seems to have got a nice balance between realism and fun - and begs to be used for the old (6th edition derived) English civil War and Ancients rules. Suggest agreeing maximum points for heroes as they can rule the battlefield like Conan on speed.
