The same mechanics as the original Welcome to..., but with added stuff on top so it can only get better! Quite complex on the first play as there are A LOT of things to take into account, but easier in the following plays. A great sequel that keeps the original spirit but gives a nice variety :) Any more complex and it would probably have been a miss.
This game is wildly underrated. One of the best "roll & write" games out there. Brilliantly crafted. The way players can grab the reins and take control of the pacing of the game feel unparalleled to me. There are so many deliciously painful decisions about what to prioritize. I find the addition of the "evens & odds" a truly brilliant extra ingredient to add to the "Welcome To" puzzle. Even the integration of the theme just clicks and feels "write" in this one! Give it a try on BGA - the rules take a bit to digest but it's well worth the investment!
This is what I wanted Welcome to... to be after so many plays with the original!
