Description
Whakaari is a hilarious party game for 3-8 players, winner of the Italian Game Jam in Naples 2022. Set on a treacherous lava lake, players must jump from one platform to another in an exciting race to the finish line.
On each turn, players check the status of the platform they are on: depending on the situation, they may need to draw an event card and resolve its effects. If they survive, they play a card to jump to another platform, whose length is measured on the sides of the card itself. Each player also has a unique special power, activatable to catch up with opponents and turn the game around.
