Awesome game! It takes the core idea of Beer & Bread to the next leve. It's deeper, more complex, and way more fun. It feels completely different from B&B and offers much more player interaction. A fantastic mid-heavy euro in a small box. If you get the chance to pick it up, don't hesitate!

We liked the game very much. For expert players this feels better than Bread & Beer.
Víno a sýr je vynikající, designově čistý strategický duel. Scott Almes dokázal vzít základy ze své předchozí hry a přetavit je do komplexnějšího, hlubšího a taktičtějšího zážitku, který uspokojí i náročnější hráče. V tom ale může být kámen úrazu. Hra se také stala delší, velmi málo odpouští chyby a nedoporučil bych ji nováčkům. Pokud hledáte chytré a těsné euro pro dva v kompaktním balení a nevadí vám občasné delší přemýšlení nad herním plánem, s tímto titulem rozhodně nešlápnete vedle. Wine & Cheese is delicious! Obviously it's a different game than Beer & Bread, however it has the same style in many ways. I'm impressed by the multifunctional cubes, that feel fresh as well for resource management as for the aging. Rules seem to be quite difficult while reading but once learned they are just medium complex.
