Description

The expansion the Pilgrim's Road introduces 2 new gods and 15 new Follower cards, allowing Altar to be played with 6 players!

The game now features a new god and goddess, giving players the choice between 7 Realms. This allows a 6th player to join in the struggle for influence between the multiple deities.

God of Dreams has the ability to choose which abilities of another god in the game to copy each round. However, the God of Dreams cannot retain the same abilities in the next turn, so he must change to another god power each round.

Goddess of Blood can use Priestesses for rituals, and there is no limit to the number of Shrines she can build.

This expansion also offers 15 new Follower cards such as the Demigod, Occultist, Twins, and Tyrant!

Moreover, you can add more depth to your games by incorporating the rules of the Pilgrim's Journey:

During setup, each player must choose 2 of their Follower cards and place them in the Pilgrims space above their realm. These cards are non-playable for the duration of the game and always remain 2 per position, regardless of how many cards a player has in their hand or how many cards are left in the Followers deck.

After drawing a new card, each player has the option to trade a card from their hand with any card in the Pilgrim space of any player, including their own.
