Description

Each turn in Die Maulwurf Company, players move their moles, who are on a quest to dig underground and find The Golden Shovel. The game board is actually made of four boards laid on top of one another, with the topmost board having many holes in it, the second board down having fewer holes, etc. The players start with their moles outside of holes on the top board. On a turn, a player reveals a movement token, then moves one of their moles that many spaces. Once all of the holes are occupied, the top board (and any moles on it who aren't sitting in holes) are removed from play, and now players try to get into the newly revealed holes on the second board so that they can travel to the third board. The final level has only one hole in it leading to The Golden Shovel. Which mole will claim this prize?
