Ares-Expedition: Discoveries enriches the base game Terraforming Mars: Ares-Expedition with new card mechanics. Fans of the original Terraforming Mars will welcome the return of awards and milestones, increasing replayability. Some new project cards allow the player to improve one of their phase cards to receive even greater bonuses. Improving a phase card can shift one's strategy, but can also influence how well opponents can predict. Each improved phase card is available in two different variants to adapt to your own playstyle.
