Description Description

A solitaire wargame covering the Mexican Revolution from 1910-1920. There are 4 scenarios covering the major periods of the Revolution:

  1. The Fall of the Porfiriato
  2. Orozco's Rebellion
  3. The Constitutionalist Revolt
  4. Carranza's Triumph

These can be played individually or any number of them linked together into a larger campaign game - in which you will have to take care as today's fellow revolutionary may well be tomorrow's sworn foe.

The game uses area movement between Regions (Mexican states) and their important Towns. As well as the military forces involved (cavalry, peasants, Rurales, conscripts and more) you will control the important characters of the revolution, such as Pancho Villa, Emiliano Zapata, Alvaro Obregon, the Magon Brothers, and many others. There are rules to govern their fate: will they escape to exile, be imprisoned, or "shot while trying to escape"...

There are a range of unique counters to represent important parts of the revolution. For example: US Intervention, Soldaderas, Bandidos, Red Battalions, and the infamous Loco-Loco: a train packed with dynamite sent hurtling into enemy lines!
