Crossing perilous waters in their mangrove-wood canoes, the Bullcroak tribes of the western Shattered Spine Islands have, for generations, used the dense jungles of southern Alchiere as their hunting grounds. As the trollkin of the United Kriels migrated from western Immoren to wild lands of the south, the newly formed Southern Kriels attempted to honor and respect their new neighbors, and in return were shown the ways of the wilds and permitted to make their new home among the trackless and untamed territory.

Now, the Southern Kriels have found a dauntless ally in the Firetongue Warriors, the fiercest fighting tradition of the Bullcroak tribes. Blending fearsome sorcery with ancient alchemy, the Firetongues augment the armies of the Southern Kriels with both might and magic.
