I have played this game twice. The game challenges you strategically as you have to make so many moves at your turn that every move counts! Amazing graphics! Loved it.

Space Freaks é um jogo de tabuleiro tático onde você gerencia um time de criaturas alienígenas. Construa seus Freaks únicos combinando partes do corpo e depois os guie para a vitória na arena. Ganhe completando tarefas dos espectadores, destruindo oponentes ou controlando o centro da arena. Com combate por turnos, construção de torres e bunkers, para 2-4 jogadores em aproximadamente 60 minutos.

Welcome to the hottest, most cruel show in the galaxy! It's Friday night battle in the Arena of Annhilation! Stay tuned and see what new tricks our arena master has in store for today's battle.
Here comes the first team. Oh my, they seem to be even uglier than our usual competitors. Who thought it was a good idea to match chain tracks with a poison needle? That team will need a lot of help from their sponsor to have a chance. Look at their opponents, tentacles with anti-matter flail, that's a classic. Seems like we are ready to start. It's time to Freak out!
In Space Freaks you are the team manager of one of the teams sponsored by powerful megacorporations. Your task is to combine different body parts to design the perfect Freak and then lead your team of Freaks to victory.
The arena is controlled by the arena master, who each turn changes the conditions in the arena. To succeed, you need to complete tasks given to you by the viewers. Or just destroy the other Freaks and their base. But don't worry, in Space Freaks everyone wins. Either you are the manager of the winning team, or you become a (body)part of the next winning team!
Space Freaks features:
Turn based tactical combat in an arena where the conditions change each turn.
Build your own unique Freaks, one body part at a time.
Score points by fulfilling tasks given to your team by the viewers, killing competing Freaks, destroying their base or by controlling the center of the arena.
Build turrets, bunkers and droids to aid you.
Get help from your team sponsor in the form of items, special actions or even alien marauders.

We bought the game in Essen and played it just once, but I really enjyed it! Creating of the freak is fun, the game is quick. There are many ways how to received victory points. And make up combos with different cards and abillites is just epic!

This game is just amazing so much fun right from the start. Character/Hero creation combinations are huge and really give you fantastic way to define your play style. Whether it is skinny Sniper blasting your enemies to the oblivion or armored melee machine on tentacles. Game is fast paced full war right from the bat. Where everyone is trying to score point causing mayhem behind enemy lines, defending home base or flanking their best friend. 6 rounds keeps the aprox 90min gaming time in place so game is also suitable for people busy lives. So much fun! Can,t wait to play again! Rated 10 stars for this one.

This is a great board game i can recommend it to everyone. And it's so much fun. If you have the chance to play with 2, 3 or four people it's even better and the diffrent amount of players makes you change the way you play the game. There is even coming up an expansion to it in 2018.

Test copy received from the designer. Now with the final version it causes lots of fun at the table. Loved the wit!
