A faction that features a complex and diverse kit, with many abilities borrowed from older factions. But it does not stray away from some of the traditional faction characteristics of Neuroshima Hex. The mechanics in managing the unique gamble currency are innovative and not too tedious to grasp. Overall, plays well if you don't mind an extra layer of complexity. Rating: 8

We both enjoyed this army's twist of gaining "gamble" tokens for discarding units and found it to be fun to play NH with Merchants Guild. We played it every day vs a random previous published army for a month: https://boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/155777/monthly-tournament-results-november-neuroshima-hex It seemed similarly strong as the other armies, winning about half its games.
