Today Bosnia represents the most difficult and important step that migrants take on the Balkan route. Being at the northern border of Bosnia means facing the last major obstacle: the game, that is the attempt to cross that border, pass through the forests of Croatia and Slovenia, reach Italy and, therefore, Europe. A journey that a person can try many times without success. A route forgotten by the media and political instrumentalizations, a route that for thousands of people means the dream of a better life. This book tells the stories of the people directly involved in this paradox, gives voice to their experiences, so that what is happening just beyond our border is known, so that history is made by the voices of people and not just by bureaucratic documents.
