Andrea “Strafexpedition” Brusati has put all his efforts in thoroughly researching the game. Many years of hard work in selecting the immense bibliography, fresh studies on orders of battle and the dynamics of the campaign, tons of historical discussions …
The game has four different scenarios, with the historical battle played by both players on the two fronts, Italian and Central Powers. Let's face it: this is a monster game with many hundreds of counters. But, astonishingly enough, very playable. Counter density is high in the first turns, but we have prepared player aids for this.
Help us to recreate the most famous, controversial and tragic event of Italian history: Caporetto.
Five sheets of counters, one large map and one "mappette" for the initial turn(s) to deploy artillery.
An evolution of the vastly praised game system of Strafexpedition.
