Description
A human woman is called to lead a penal colony on an alien planet. The entire story is a long internal monologue, written and illustrated in a fragmented manner reminiscent of Burroughs/Bad Trip, in which the protagonist reveals herself and the motivations that led her to accept that job. 'Human love was not enough' repeats the protagonist in the book, an anaphora that accompanies Heuser's reflection on the human condition, loneliness, life, and death. A surprising psychedelic and underground journey created with mixed technique: drawing, markers, ballpoint pen, ink, collage, marbled papers made by the author herself, real elements like bus tickets stuck directly by hand on the board, forget about digital. A visually stunning graphic novel and naturally punk, because Heuser has learned the lesson and made it her own, in a pink key.
