If you are reading this, then congratulations on being part of the prestigious history of Deimos Academy. A prestigious institution, the roots of which can be traced back to the 16th century, Deimos Academy is one of the longest operating schooling institutions that offers housing in a traditional boarding school style. Deimos students range from as young as 8 while some of our senior students are as old as 18. We have a preschool program as well but do not worry the little tykes do not stick around after programming is done for the day. Some of the world’s most powerful people have graced our halls, from celebrities to technology geniuses; and if they didn’t go here then consider yourself lucky to have received a better education than they did. We look forward to seeing you again. An Alumni Liaison will be in contact soon for your tour. Remember: Excellence Always.
Deimos Academy is a game about adults returning to face the cursed boarding school that terrified them as children. Players are the adults who must attend a reunion at the school. With no clear recollection or memory of what their childhood was like at school, they slowly unlock what has clearly been repressed. As they uncover more and more of their old memories, they discover that a monster lurks beneath. This is a horror collaborative storytelling roleplaying game that uses a coloring book and dice. Players will be building the story together, remembering things from their characters’ pasts and attempting to overcome the fears they had as children.

The paper doll characters you can choose fromContent warnings for this game include drugs, alcohol, institutional sexism, abuse of power and authority, childhood trauma, the supernatural. Though we have visual representation of some of these topics in the game as items, the coloring book will also offer a full sheet of new items that players can cut out and glue over pre-existing items if they notice any that make the group feel uncomfortable or go against the Lines and Veils that players have set beforehand. The game also offers an X-Card and O-Card in the coloring book.

Note cards for the memories that you'll write and tear up
Coloring pencils for customizing your character and filling in rooms
A bookmark for your rulebook

Players have different character sheets representing their different supernatural abilities that can be used as modifiers for die rolls. They will also have a set of questions to answer about their characters and their relationships before play. These character sheets are double-sided—when players receive both pieces of the school uniform for their character, they flip the character sheet over to reveal the Consumed side. They will then side with the school to prevent the other characters from escaping at the end of the game.
Each player will choose a paper doll that they are interested in playing. These paper dolls can be customized and colored in to the player's liking. When players fail rolls, they take a piece of a school uniform, which represents how they are becoming a part of the cursed school.

This game uses one six-sided die (1d6):
5-6: I remember!Color the item in with your pencil or marker. Then take a memory card from the deck and either tell the other alumni about your memory (e.g. “Remember that time…?”) or act it out as a flashback with them.
3-4: My memory is a bit fuzzy... Draw or color something else in the room (that isn’t a highlighted item) that hints at your fear. It may be something supernatural or figurative, and other alumni may or may not be able to see it. Answer the question: What is strange about this space? Describe it either in-character or as a player.
1-2: I don’t remember anything.Rip up the top card in the memory deck without looking at it. Then add a piece of school uniform to your doll. Answer the question: Who in the group bothers you? Confront them in-character.

At the end of the game, players will roll the 1d6 twice in an attempt to escape a maze made of their characters' fears, as the room itself and any Consumed characters try to drag them back.
