In Diluvium, players relive the story of Noah and his fabled Ark, trying to build an Ark of their own and fill it with animals and food in preparation for the rains to come. In this worker placement game, players have seven actions available to them: collect animals, trade animals and other game elements, collect pitch, collect food, collect wood, build and embark. The order of the turn is determined by the actions chosen by the players, and the player who chooses an action performs it first (with other players following) and has more possibilities available to him than the other players have. Wood and pitch are needed to build an Ark; food to embark animals. You must collect a male and female of the same species in order to embark them, and since the animals have different dimensions, you must prepare places on the Ark of an appropriate size to house them.
