Description Description

Divinus is a competitive, older, digital hybrid game where you play as a demigod seeking to gain the favor of the gods to ascend to a new pantheon. Players embark on a campaign with twelve scenarios, exploring lands, completing quests, interacting with gods, and influencing the epic clash between Greek and Norse pantheons. At the beginning of each campaign scenario, players open a sealed box with new quests, components, stickers, gods, game mechanisms, and more. The Divinus app provides players with a narrative and sets the stakes for what's to come. Each round, players spend dice from their supply to explore new tiles from the world board, placing them on their demigod card in adjacent and matching features as they work towards the general quest and god objectives. Throughout the campaign, players make permanent changes to their demigods by collecting powerful artifacts, forging their dice by changing their faces, and earning titles for the achievements they reach. Players also permanently alter the game world by changing tiles and placing new locations, heroes, and monsters on the map pieces. When players complete quests or other important objectives, they can make crucial decisions through the Divinus app. They decide the outcome of dilemmas such as choosing which side is victorious in a battle, building or destroying a sacred site, and deciding whether a god lives or dies. Whatever outcome the player chooses, game components can be altered, and the Divinus app will remember and present future context-based options influenced by the decision made. Returning to a fortress where you've helped the Norse gods will earn you praise, while demigods favored by the Greek pantheon may be shunned. The Divinus campaign is ideally played over multiple game sessions due to the persistent and evolving world. The rulebook grows with each scenario as new rules and content are unlocked. Once the campaign is completed, players can replay their unique copy of Divinus with an infinite post-campaign replayability mode.
