After the good success of Florenza (http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/81640/florenza), Placentia Games introduces its sequel! "Florenza: the Card Game" is a stand alone game in which, once more, players are the heads of the most important families of Florence during Renaissance. As in the original game, you will try to hire the best artists to embellish the monuments of the city, but you can also build workshops and houses or join guilds to strenghten your power and have more resources and money to manage. Players gather the needed resources or money from central or district workshops. To build district buildings (cards in hand) or embellish city monuments (cards in play) they will need the resources and to hire one of the available artists. Other cards in hands are personal district buildings, houses, workshops and corporations (for points in final scoring or benefits during the game). Even if it's a "card game", it is very tactical and strategical, with management elements and high replayability. It mantains the "feelings" of Florenza in a shorter and more accessible game.
