Que jogo tão contagiante! 2 formas de leilão, bem parasitosas, ideais para perder amizades, numa obra em que a gestão do dinheiro é determinante e nada fácil. A arte é que podia e devia ser melhor, mas mesmo assim não está mal... Vou querer jogar este jogo a toda a hora, apaixonei-me!
Well designed, and works wonderfully with two. Haven't tried it with a larger table, but anticipate the experience will be surprisingly similar, as attention was given to the scale factor in this design. Deceptively simple ruleset -- very simplistic mechanisms drive a complex set of decisions. Only negative is the length, but I find this a minor quibble. Our sessions have run a touch longer than I'd have preferred given the simplicity of the game, but I'm really reaching to find a criticism to include in my otherwise glowing praise.
As excellent as the reimplemented original game, The Speicherstadt. Played the base game (I have never played the Kaispeicher expansion). In my opinion, both the theme and art were far more interesting in the original. But of course this is just a personal question. The game is just superb, with one of the best auction mechanisms I have met.
This game is an underrated gem. Reinvents Die Speicherstadt (including the difficult to find expansion Kaispeicher) in a Viking setting. One of my very favorite auction/bidding games and with great mid-weight depth, tight mechanisms, and tough decision making. It shines at 5 players and is usually fairly inexpensive.
