Description
Live the experience of late-1980s graphic adventures, but with cards. Area 53 is a board escape game in graphic-adventure style: you read the Adventure Diary, observe the Scenario Cards, draw and use the Action Cards, and above all you look for numbers and codes hidden in the texts, illustrations, and puzzles to advance the story. You play solo or in a group, with a timer on hand: the goal is clear from the start — enter Area 53, uncover its secrets, and get out alive... possibly without racking up penalties. The tone is bizarre and ironic, and the puzzles follow that style as well: you have to pay attention to every detail, because some clues are deliberately "strange" and others are partially hidden.
