After the release of Siberia from Reiner Stockhausen and dlp games in 2011, the search for resources – gas, charcoal, petroleum, diamonds and gold – in the wilderness of Siberia continues in Siberia: The Card Game.

Players are required to deploy investors, salesmen, and workers as well as to grab for resources at the right moment. While some of the individuals and landscapes from Siberia are present, Siberia: The Card Game is a standalone game that's faster, more casual, and easier to learn.

That said, the five marketplace cards in Siberia: The Card Game can be used as an expansion for Siberia, and rules for this expansion are included.
