Description
Nur is a village inhabited by elderly people and children who live by telling stories of devils, horrible animals, fairy tales of petrification and temptations. It is a place where there are the sea and the countryside, expanses of mud and koalas sleeping on eucalyptus trees. It is the place from which the protagonist recalls his love for the young Giana and the attempt to fill together with her the void of an inevitable loneliness. Mauro Tetti, with a writing that absorbs and reinvents the most imaginative pages of Calvino, Borges and Federigo Tozzi, drags us into a world that, completely over the top, becomes more real than reality.
