Lovely expansion for one of the best games to have come out in recent years. Really surprised by just how much the single hex pieces influence the way you build your city and the objectives add a really interesting dynamic. In short, it is an excellent expansion for a base game that I already viewed as pretty much perfect so it's a tough one to rate really. Rating of reflects love for the base game and the enjoyment facilitated by the expansion to explore and approach the city-building differently, however - as said, I really do view the base game on equal par with Azul et al. as a perfect gateway game and an outstanding filler for hobbyists in its own right too.

- 18 cards (57.5mmx89.0mm)
In this game, players must use their skills to complete specific Construction cards by building layouts within their cities that match the cards. As players complete these cards, they can acquire parts of the Statue of Athena and gain Mini-tiles to enhance their cities. The goal is to strategically build your city while completing these Construction cards to gain additional points and advantages.
The game integrates the core rules of the Akropolis base game with the added challenge of completing Construction cards. Each architect can complete each Construction card only once and must manage their resources and placements carefully to maximize their points.
The game concludes when there is only one tile left in the Construction Site and all the stacks have been used. Points are counted as usual, but players who have completed the Statue of Athena gain extra points for their Stones, adding a layer of strategic depth to the gameplay. The ultimate goal is to have the most prestigious city by the end of the game, as determined by the accumulated points.

Essential Expansion. Adds New Plaza, District & Dual District Mini-Tiles, Construction Cards & Statue Of Athena Tokens. (Goals With Specific Layouts).
Une excellente extension, c'est une extension dont on ne peut plus se passer une fois essayée. Athena est de ce calibre. Elle apporte une très grande valeur ajoutée au jeu de base, sans changer un cheveu des règles de base. Il faut l'avoir.
Great expansion i will always play with. The addition of the small tiles makes even higher levels possible. I like that they're tied to goals as well.
Excellent addition, the new single-tiles are super powerful, as they are real easy to place high, so you want to rush for those objectives
