Trapped in the middle are journalist Cher Hunt, scientist Chad McLaren, and synthetic Davis. In an attempt to uncover who caused the death of her sister, Shy Hunt, Cher realizes that the story is much bigger than her, while McLaren's mission, fighting alongside his wife Amanda Ripley, is to stop the creation of the deadliest weapon of all: the Xenomorph.
