It was supposed to be a last job. The mysterious antiquarian Randall Tillinghast has made you an offer you can't refuse, and you set off for the South Pacific with your fellow investigators to reach the immense alien city of R’lyeh.
However, the more you explore, the more horrors you discover, and as you feel a sense of impending dread grow, you and all of Arkham will face a colossal threat.
The hour has come. Cthulhu has awakened, and Arkham will never be the same. In the campaign expansion The Sunken City, one to four investigators will explore the mysterious and deadly city of R’lyeh that is emerging from the ocean depths.
Venturing into the tomb ruins, you will climb the crumbling foundations of the city, scan the depths for alien artifacts, navigate through incomprehensible machinery and moving corridors, and uncover an ancient story submerged along with the city. You will experience a unique story that will change based on the chosen investigators, culminating in a battle against Cthulhu himself!
