Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter is a game of push-your-luck, deduction, and risk for 2-6 players that uses the award-winning Love Letter system.
Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter is played over a series of rounds. Each round, you collect clues to investigate an eldritch mystery while trying to hold onto your sanity—or embracing the horror.
The card in your hand represents the clue you’re currently investigating. Each turn, you draw 1 new card, then play 1 of your 2 cards. Playing certain cards will drive you Insane, which gives you access to powerful Insane effects on cards you play but also forces you to make a Sanity check each turn to see if you break down completely.

Super divertido para lo que es: un love letter. Me gustó el giro de las cartas del otro mundo que te pueden volver loco. A veces te arriesgas para tratar de ganar la partida con Cthulhu, pero la suerte no corre a tu favor jaja. Eso si, es un juego de push your luck y, a veces, la suerte hace que pierdas muy rápido. Hay partidas que han durado 3 minutos y otras a 20. Creo que eso ayuda a que la gente le guste y quiera volver a jugar.

This takes all the great parts of Love Letter and adds a nice wrinkle to it. I probably wouldn't introduce people to Love Letter with this, but after playing a few games, I'd happily switch over. Makes it about a half point better than base. That said, I do prefer the Citadels artwork in the newest LL edition.

This might be a hot take, but my gaming group actually likes this version of Love Letter a little more than the original. Sure, the Lovecraftian theme is tacked-on, as with a lot of games out there, but the Other Words cards/insanity mechanism add a fun wrinkle to the game that's more than just a re-skin.

Поиграли на состав 4 и 6 игроков. Классная версия тайного послания, добавились крутые эффекты создающие "вау моменты". Стало больше рандома, но и веселья прибавилось.. Колода прокручивается быстрее за счёт проверки безумия, а потому и раунды стали бодрее и быстрее. При этом победы теперь делятся на два вида: "в здоровом рассудке" или "в безумном" и имея победу в здравом рассудке, то это отдельный челлендж, постараться выиграть в здравом рассудке, ведь имея только 1 карту безумия на руке, её можно придержать и пытаться не играть, может и повезёт!
