One of my favourite games. The simple mechanics provide a wide variety of point inducing tactics. The gameboard is very colourful and easy to read. The games in our group are always very tense.

Elegant design...great replay factor; Easy to teach.Looks simple, but is not.Very fast. Scores fluctuate like El grande.May help or hinder others. There IS strategy and tactics. See articles. Try to get others to help you score, or try to hog 1 area to score. Also; play when sharp, not tired, or you'll miss scorings. The storage box is a 9.
Best with 3P, 4P - - - Good with 2P, 5P This game is in my Top Ten. This is a lighter Kramer/Kiesling game with a lot of strategy and a good bit of calculated luck as well. Maneuvering your rangers around the board for multiple scoring in one turn is a rush, and worrying that the player to your right is about to steal your calculated move adds tension to the game. Some complain about the theme, but this is the least of my concerns in a good game. A little chaotic with five, but still a lot of fun.
My absolute favourite. Strange that tthis game did not get more attention as it could really stand next to the risks and monopolies of this world.
Bought at the Dragon's Den Boxing Day Sale in 2013 for $25. It's pretty good. Not too difficult to learn. Nice components. By the same designers as Tikal.
