Aventuria: Curse of Borbarad Adventure Set

Cooperative expansion for 1-6 players ages 14+, with sessions of about 60 minutes. The complete adventure requires 8-12 sessions. Aventuria Basic Box is required to play.

Eleven brave heroes set out to infiltrate Borbarad's tower and break its curse, but now they are all dead... except you. As the sole survivor, you must face the tower's dangers alone and complete the mission. Curse of Borbarad is a solo adventure for Aventuria – The Adventure Card Game: with 30 Tower Cards you build the sorcerer's cursed tower, then choose a hero to explore the deadly levels. The goal is to discover what the Curse of Borbarad is and how to stop it, saving all of southern Aventuria from catastrophe. Between you and your goal stand the mysterious tower, its guards and traps; as a single hero you can expect nothing but certain death. In this place steeped in ancient magic, however, death is only the beginning: it allows you to learn from mistakes and go deeper to uncover the tower's secrets.

The adventure is designed for a single hero and introduces new mechanics to vary solo gameplay; multiplayer mode is also possible in a group (2-6 players). Includes a large Tower Plan, four deadly levels, Learning Cards, rules for Hunger and Thirst, and other game elements.
