Description Description
Bang! Gold Rush is an expansion for the card game Bang! that can be used with the base game alone or mixed with other expansions. In addition to featuring eight new characters, Bang! Gold Rush adds two new mechanisms to game play: Players can collect gold nuggets to buy equipment, with the equipment giving your character new abilities and you the chance to develop new strategies. Even when a player is shot down during the game, he can come back to play with the Shadow Gunslinger variant. When that dead player's turn comes around, he temporarily re-enters play and takes his turn as if he were alive, now giving an eliminated player the chance to affect the outcome of a game. Look out for shots from beyond the grave!

This is the newest expansion to the already great game Bang!. It uses the gold nugget in play to buy cards from a draw pile to play yourself or buy other players cards to keep them form playing them. Its a great addition to the game. There are a few character cards that I think only work with the Gold Rush expansion so you cant play those characters in a game where your not useing the Gold Rush expansion. Its a fun addition to the game.

I really enjoy the new elements that Gold Rush brings to Bang, especially when playing with The Valley of Shadows and the "ghost" characters (something we almost always do in my game groups to keep eliminated players engaged instead of just sitting there watching.) Is it necessary to enjoy Bang? No. Does it add an awesome variation into an already great game? Absolutely!

Adds an interesting new layer to the game, I like the gold nuggets and the abilities they grant. The shadow players are kind of weird but prevent player elimination, somewhat.
