Played the prototype. An amazing game. The artstyle was beautiful, the mechanics are easy to understand, though a little patience is required cause there are alot of rules since you can do soooooo much in the game. And it's not time consuming either. Not too fast like monopoly and not story oriented like DnD. If you want something that will last through Game Night; this is the perfect Game for you.

Howdy, deadly stranger...
Bantam West (2nd Edition) is a competitive open-world RPG for 2-4 players. Take on the role of Deadly Strangers, immortal outlaws, and explore the western town of Gallow Springs and surrounding territories: the Wild Nature, Swamps, Mountains, and Plains. Live as you wish: work, fight, build, trade, and plunder to become the most infamous!
Collect resources to craft powerful items, acquire deadly weapons and equipment, advance your character's abilities and quests, face terrain hazards, build cabins, and recruit a gang to assert your influence. Watch out for events and encounters scattered across the territory that can bring wealth or ruin. In the end, only one Deadly Stranger will emerge as the most feared.
The 2nd edition returns with rewritten rules, a renewed interface, revised combat system and events, four new quests, greater character variety, and twelve new "classic" cowboy weapons.

Everything I know by the first edition and everything I got to know during the SPIEL I am thrilled to buy it as soon as it will launch on Gamefound at the 11. of November. Rating is based on first impressions.
Recommend for chilling with your friends adventuring around the maps , characters roles and combating each other ❤️
It's hard to believe games like this are still being made. A terrific mix of world building and combat tactics. Can't get enough of this game, once you get the game rolling, it's hard to imagine a reason to stop playing. Particularly obsessed with the PvE elements as I've played as the thief for my last few playthroughs.
Played demo at Spiel 2025. Really nice sandbox with wild west theme. Lot of interesting mechanics with tons of freedom during choosing way of playing. Really recommend to check
