Description Description

In June 1798, British forces converged on the encampment of the United Irishmen at Vinegar Hill to crush the Irish Rebellion. A great battle ensued, won by the British, though many Irish soldiers managed to escape. The United Irishmen were superior in numbers (and perhaps in religious and ideological fervor), but the British were better equipped and formed a more regular and disciplined force.

You win the game by capturing the majority of objective hexes and without suffering too many losses in doing so. Cards govern movement, combat, and unique events, varying the course of play. A new addition to the Battle Series by The Historical Game Company, LLC.
