It's an excellent game and the studio ghibli-japanese folklore game I've been looking for. It's full of color and foklore items/creatures with a stong euro game structure that is very satisfying with the normal indirect blocking element for player interaction without it being hateful because you usually too busy trying to make your turn as efficient as possible. Absolutely loved it and the production is amazing.

Absolutely loved this game. The first round was taxing while we figured out the game, but once we did it was extremely interesting and rewarding. Numerous strategic paths one can take although we will have to play more to see how well it all works. Artwork is gorgeous. I do have one complaint however. There are a few colours used to differentiate pieces that have implications for certain strategic paths that i could not tell apart, and some important information is very small.

A polar opposite of Barrage in many ways, and one of my favorite euros. It's such an open and generous game, giving you the resources and time to explore all of its avenues at your own leisure, while still providing an excellent and brain bending puzzle to solve. Be warned, though. This is quite a beast to teach, and fitting it all on one table is more difficult than you might think.

I have this game for over 4 years - it's a joy to play every time. Nowadays with Resutoran included to get a bit more variety on setup. Loving the components, the art and the flow of it. Simple mechanisms, good agency over scoring strategies makes this a mainstay in my collection.
