Bone Wars

Description

We are in the last half of the 1800s, during the so-called Bone War. During this time a great rivalry arose between Othniel Marsh and Edward Cope, two world-famous palaeontologists. Both sought to outclass the other in the discovery of new dinosaur species, going so far as to bribe their rival's workers, steal or even destroy each other's bones. Players will play the role of palaeontologists working for one of these legendary figures (or perhaps secretly for their own benefit!) trying to outwit the competition. During the game, players must make clever use of their action cards by playing them in the spaces below the player board. These action cards can either activate their team, in order to unearth fossils and discover new species in the field, or their palaeontologist, in order to publish articles, refute opposing theories and obtain the coveted awards.We are in the last half of the 1800s, during the so-called Bone War.
