Brain Storm is the perfect game for quick thinkers. Nine cards are placed face up on the table from 120 available cards. The first player to find a word or phrase combining two cards takes them and replaces them. Whoever collects the most cards wins the game.

A design to encourage interest in learning or test recall of compound words, titles, phrases and idioms. This is almost a portable, free form version of Concept with rebus/Dingbat undertones and I see this being great to encourage discussion between players of different generations and cultures to learn historical and local sayings and turns of phrase
Really don't know why this is such an obscure game. It's ridiculously easy to teach and provides quite a bit of entertainment. Has been a hit both times I played it.
Very simple idea, but great game! The ideas people evolve by connecting two pictures are awesome.
This game is easy to understand and fun. The playtime is short and not too long. There are moments when the game stands for a moment, because everyone is trying to find a good combination (not always that easy), but then it picks up the pace again. I'm not sure how high the replay value is right now, but it seems like you get quite a lot of games out of it. I suggest making a rule not to repeat previous words in consecutive rounds.
A neat light little game that works surprisingly well and makes you feel smart if you can come up with something and your friends agree. I rate it solid 7 +1 for uniqueness.
