A simple and short to play card-driven game. Perfect for initiation of non-wargamers (particularly in Britanny !).
The "twilight struggle" breton. A quick and simple system with a lot of tension driven by cards. The two sides are symetrical and the players have the same opportunity to win the game. A little box for an XXL game.
Breizh 1314 is an excellent game design that achieves a lot with a small footprint. Elegant and beautiful, it plays swiftly in roughly one hour and has a lot of replayability because the randomness does not limit your decision space, but much rather allows for a variety of different strategic approaches.
Good game with tug of war and hard decisions to be made. More variety with the cards would have been most appreciated
