VERY good expansion, adding not just customized character abilities but different guns and a trickier layer to loot sharing in the safe.

This is not only a fun expansion with several modules (safe elements, new cards, associated godfather new abilities, the new special abilities, and the one off surprise cards are all great) You can mix and match but te base game is simple enough that you can just add in everything all the time and it honestly works really well (exccept with really dumb and old people and it's their first game) Otherwise, just throw this in, play with all of it; it becomes a slightly deeper and more interesting game but doesn't really become m ore clunky at all. It's a definitely expansion to get outside of families with small kids.

New loot types very fun. Safe manages to be more fun than fiddly, and new gun types always welcome. Surprise cards add just that to the game for some riotous moments. Recommended.

Was hoping this would save this game for my group. It improves on the base game slightly by tweaking some imbalances in the base game and increases variety. However you are still doing basically the same thing and its a bit more fiddly to set up and teach. Ultimately not a significant enough improvement in my groups to justify it's purchase. Revision 2017: Having played another person's copy with another group I've increased it's ranking. Warning this game is very group dependent! The louder and more trash talk the better the experience.
