Description
The Roman Republic is nearing its end, but not without a power struggle between Caesar and his former ally Pompey. Players command their legions, send them to the most important battlefields, and try to gain control of the provinces to become rulers of the Republic. Playing as Caesar or Pompey, two players use their influence over significant areas of the Roman Civil War to proclaim themselves the first rulers of the Roman Empire!

No le puedes pedir más a un juego que sea tan rápido. Los finales tan rápidos hacen que nada más acabar una partida siempre quieras echar una más. Mucho pique y pasa a ser mi filer favorito

A two-player game full of combos and tough decisions. Every turn you place down one of your pieces which affect two separate areas. First person to complete an area wins a bonus, but person with the most strength there takes a step towards victory. And if they win an area bordering another one of their previous victories...they place another victory marker and this can keep going in a crazy combo cycle. Fantastic game.

Abstract area control game in which I don't enjoy most of the time. This one is special! It packs so much punch into a single game within 20 mins: arc, special actions/ abilities, double sided area control... All under 20 mins! What a feat! This is a game that I am going to keep forever. A design masterpiece.

Had to play it several times until I figured out all the rules. The game is quite simple, but the rules aren’t that clear and they are missing some edge case explanations. But regardless od that, the game itself is amazing. Quick, easy to teach, hard to master. Love it
