The monsoon approaches Tonlé Sap Lake and the waters are about to change course. In Cambaya, an ingenious euro-style resource management and survival game, you guide a local family preparing for impending floods. You must prepare by building stilt houses and securing your supplies before rising water levels sweep everything away.
The heart of the game is an elegant dice drafting mechanism. Each round you'll select the dice that determine the actions of your family members:
Send your Explorer deep into the mangrove to gather bamboo, bananas and supplies.
Move your Pilgrims along spiritual paths toward temples.
Have your Villager climb the ranks of the Village Prestige board.
With the materials you collect, you must build boats, houses and impressive stilt houses to keep your fish safe from the feared floods. Thanks to the modular configuration of the mangroves and pilgrimage routes, every game is a unique puzzle.
Read the tide, choose your dice wisely and stay one step ahead of your rivals. Only those who know how to adapt will manage to prosper and lead their family to victory!
